With Yasmine we tried 2 different types of print making. I carved my drawing into a plastic sheet and we put it through the printing press.
I enjoyed the printing as it gave me a chance to explore a more illustrative side and the tedious process was made worthwhile after seeing the end result of the print. In hindsight I would have chosen a less pigmented purple tissue paper in order to let my drawing fully come through.
In this workshop, we were tasked with designing a shoe from the decade of our choice. I chose the Seventies, and created some quick sketches, icons and patterns to add to my shoe. As the Seventies was a very funky era, I decided to design a block heeled boot instead of a shoe for my final product.

After much trial and error, I finally came up with my own pattern for my boot, and designed this groovy pair of 70’s block heels.
