I then moved on to focus on the branding of my app as this is a vital part to tie a product together.
I began to think of the best icons to use to best entice the user into downloading the app. I began rough sketching my ideas and then writing the pros and cons under each of them until I had decided on the one I felt would be most successful.
I refined my 4 ideas to improve all the initial cons of the rough sketches. After I had refined the sketches and coloured them it was much clearer to see which I felt was the most successful.
I decided that the icon of the professor was the strongest design as I felt it best reflected that the app is a science-based game. this then helped me to continue on to creating my brand guidelines.
