Concept art finished, we moved onto modelling our objects for the environment. We allocated different models to each other and set to work. I took it upon myself to model the clothes line, the bridge, a tree and the moon. However, time constraints caused me to leave out the clothing line though the model was started in Maya. We also discovered we didn’t really a moon as it could be added in Unreal instead.
The computer I am using doesn’t allow for screen shots, so I will link the FBX files for the models.

I also had a moon model, though I am unable to open it for some reason. I have a theory I have used too many polygons. (Link : https://ulster-my.sharepoint.com/:u:/g/personal/gray-t3_ulster_ac_uk/Ea6C1qJjFaxPg-akB2C5orUBdfColeWmzMU-A4O_3qthTg?e=mSyHaR )
I never textured the models for the moon and clothes line, but I did for the tree and bridge.

(Bridge Roughness)
For texturing, as we wanted a more feminine aesthetic, I stuck to using pink coloured textures. The bridge was suppose to be more reminiscent of a cobblestone one you would find in Animal Crossing or an Indie game. For the tree. I stuck to the same principle and kept it simple as well. There was a texture that looked like low poly leaves that I liked using for the tree as well.
I had a few issues with UV Mapping, some of which I managed to fix and others that remained as they were, as time was beginning to catch up with me.
The models textured and finished, I began setting up the scene in Unreal. Again, as I am on a computer that doesn’t allow for screens shots, I cannot show where I have place certain things.
I have had a few issues with the rendering of the environment in Unreal 4. With the key frames not working as shown in the videos I watched, and unable to screen shot, I can’t show anything here. This has frustrated me, but I acknowledge it was my own fault since I had left the rendering to last minute – I underestimated how long it would take compared to other aspects of the project and focused too little on it. As such, all I can offer to a link to the environment in Unreal 4.
