What is Chunking?

dividing info up to make it easier to digest EG your card number that is separated into chunks to make it easier to read and digest

TASK- find a way to take this information and divide it up into chunks to make it easier to digest.

to start we began to list all the details and try to separate the information into groups which we felt went well together and were relevant to each other. We drew a line under each section to make it easier for us to see the separate sections. We had to think about the order each section would tend to appear as if we were filling in this form online. This was more difficult than we thought as we weren’t initially sure the order of importance of each question.

Once we had got the rough division of our lists, we then went on to develop the interface of the online form to make it easier and less overwhelming to fill in. we felt boxes were the best idea for this form as they are the clearest to fill in and help to best divide the information up.

Once we were satisfied, we began adding the information in what we felt was the best order and refined the layout until we had created one that was clearly divided. Overall, my ground I were very happy with the difference between the initial list and the refined list as it is much more divided and less overwhelming to read which was the main goal of this task.
