Tasks
- Our task for next week is to organise a piece of raw text in a file by seeking relationships within the content and organise the different types of content in a spreadsheet.
- We also need to organise the content into a spreadsheet style so you are able to actually organise the product.
- Then we should start sketching out your ideas on paper and create rough wireframes for your app/site.
- Competitor analysis Research is also needed to see what apps have already been created and see how you could improve them.
- Visiting the elements project exhibition at the ulster museum would also be helpful.
Critique
Kyle then displayed each of our portfolio sites on the screen for everyone to see and give feedback on what the strengths are and what could be improved. This is always a really beneficial task as you get fresh opinions on how to create the best site possible.
What did I Gain from the Critique?
through this critique session I was inspired with positive comments such as the colours I used were nice and the layout was good, but, even better, I also got some constructive criticism such as encouragements to add links to my blog on my case study pages and navigation links in these pages to other case studies. I think this is a really good idea and I will definitely take this idea on board as it will make my site much easier to navigate, as well as get the full experience of my process through the research on my blog.
