Homework: Colour Theory

For this weeks homework we were tasked with using colour theory and appling it to the background below. We were told to try and chose 1 emotion for each scene. I chose to create a very intense scene with lots of warm/dark hues with completementary shadow hues to make to scene flow harmoniously together. I wanted my scene to be very dramatic so I decided to use a sunset to evoke the feeling of intensity/passion. likewise, it could also be seen as sinister. The colours are highlgths are very bright but the shadows are quite harsh giving it a more dark feeling.

Overall I’m really happy with how this turned out but I think next time I should be a bit more experimetal.

Homework Exercise 2

For this part of the homework, I rushed it quite badly and it definately shows. I used my thumbnails from week one and applying colour thoery to it.
