One of our tasks this week was to visit the Ulster Museum and that is just what I did. The Ulster Museum has an elements section and there you can explore the elements. this exhibition included 3D display of the periodic table and I think that it was really beneficial for me to see this in real life and a great thing to include into my own research. The exhibition was inspired by a book by Theodore Gray, it was hoped that this display would inspire young and old and look at science and the periodic table in a new way. showing that the natural world is made up of some many of the periodic tables elements, I found this a truly beautiful creation highlighting the wonderful world around us.

What is next?

This was a great beginning of my periodic table journey and start to my research. I think looking at this periodic table in different and unique ways is a cool place to start research and can open some interesting and unique doors for this project. I still don’t have an idea yet of where I want to go with this so I am going to continue to do some wider research about the table to see if I can find some random/ cool research.
