Monday class

Today Henry talked us through UV mapping and substance painter.

Substance notes: bake textures first (1k-4k max resolution.)

I was kind of dissociating in class so might have to rewatch the videos, after he uploads them

We worked on a watering can, and making some edges sharp and some smooth.

It started all smoothed out, and we had to select edges and make them sharp.

This is after I made edges sharp.

I then marked out all the seams.

The substance license’s didn’t update so I won’t able to bring it into substance and add textures.

We took break for lunch. Aodhan went thorough the computers and fixes some of the substance licenses’

When we came back, we went over more UV mapping things, UV Tiles.

worked more on our models.

I added eyes and a mouth, and straightened out the tail.

Then I started working on the wings.

I bulked out the vein chambers as they are going to have to be replaced with bones to help lift the fox since its much bigger and heavier than a dragonfly

I added the details to the wings.

 

Thursday class

I wasn’t in on Thursday as I got a wisdom tooth removed the day prior and I wasn’t in good shape to go in. Thursday was mainly teacher review, so I missed some possible feedback.  but didn’t have much to catch up on, I was very grateful for this as I was mostly bed bound and unable to work on my walk cycles because of the pain I was in and the side-effects of the medicine They gave me.

 

Own work/ Study for the week.

Then I added the extremities.

Walk vanilla. Brent.

Run Vanilla, Layton.

Walk Personality. Alantia.

Run Personality. Cordok.

I didn’t finish all of Cordok’s details yet.
