today we did rigging with armatures

first we put in half the bones and named them then we symmetrize the bones so they flip symmetrically with the ones we placed.

then we assign certain areas of the model to certain bones, because it is a robot we don’t want the bones to deform the joints so we have to assign full shapes to bones, using Ctrl+ L to select the whole of the shapes.

then i turned the bones into controllers.

i didn’t have the option to add poses to a pose library, as i didn’t have a pose library.

i watched a YouTube video on how to get it but when i found it, it still didn’t give me the option to add poses.

but no matter what i tried i couldn’t find a way to get the pose library to let me use it. ill have to ask the lecturer for help on this next week.

I also finished my previs based on my storyboard.
