After doing a call on Wednesday morning where all 5 people were online, there wasn’t much to look into or discuss. Mainly what we have to pay attention to is the background now in which we did a shared canvas to plan this out. Originally, the group decided to go with a square, I had mention that I didn’t like dumb little squares but I decided to let thoughts go and give it a try and if we didn’t like it we could always just stretch it out.
Of course we had to look at each other’s design. When I asked about what we liked it appeared to be silence. I’m guessing we didn’t like much of the designs we have provided so I just ignored it and moved onto focusing the designing the layout with the group.
Eve and Zoe were mainly drawing out some details on this while feedback was quite low from the others, I had tried putting ideas down but reality, I didn’t have anything in mind as the other two started crowding up the small space.
To me, a square room just didn’t feel right, it felt claustrophobic and there wasn’t much space to put in props etc. As seen the blue pen in the before I suggested to go with the rectangle base in black pen. We decided why not and gave it a try.
We figured out that we wouldn’t see much of the front ahead of the counter so we didn’t need to pay too much attention to that while behind the counter we can put more props and signs to make it look like a bakery. So far this looks confusing but we got Eve to agree on doing a cleaner layout for this idea or a blue print kind of view, Ingrid will then try making a rough look of this in Blender.
We also looked back to our storyboard and said that the ending didn’t feel complete so we could make it fade out or make it zoom out to reveal the whole bakery. So far I believe we’re planning for it to just fade out through editing.
SPICING UP THE ROOM DESIGN
As soon as Eve completed the clean up of the room, Ingrid took on the role of creating the room layout. I had made sure that she knew she didn’t need to create all the props for the background and allow the rest of us to help her with this.

Again like before we spoke about days we’re free and not free and this was the end of it. It didn’t take much time to get it sorted.
