Self Reflection [ASSIGNMENT 2 -3D Digital Literacy]

Just after getting use to blender’s edit mode, I was happy enough to move onto sculpting in blender but through this whole process, I’ve went through many emotions. I would complete different process of the sculpt either perfectly fine or just sitting here zoning out not knowing where to go on from a mistake or that I didn’t know how to fix my problem. Some of these problems can be solved by other class mates which I appreciate a lot and most are just through my own experimental work or research.

I personally wished we were told about retopology before I did a really complicated shape for one part of my character so during my sculpt I can avoid doing some details and just add them after retopology through Multiresolution, I also feel like I didn’t do a lot of research on retopology on characters or that the ones provided from online didn’t help me with complicated shapes. But I was somehow able to find a streamer that did a lot of blender work and watch their past videos of retopology which slightly helped in my work but not all of them. I can say for my second assignment I’m not as confident in my skill as everything appear messy. This is my first time doing this kind of stuff so looking at my finished work on sketchfab I’m happy that most of the design is roughly the same as the original sketch.
