As mentioned before, due to the redesign I’m slightly behind. Instead of having lots of text in this blog post, it’ll be mainly images of just the process. Enjoy.
Back teeth created through a long cylinder than was twisted and pulled just like the lips then adjusted through scrape, inflate and pulled to shape.
Up to this point of sculpting, I had change up a few parts of the design to make sculpting easier for me and simpler. As I was going to sculpt the body. I struggled with what I had blocked out so I decided to restart the body by working on the top half and then the bottom half. Through all of that to this point, I have taken a lot of breaks in each part of the face as it’s possibly the most detailed part, I’m hoping to get this done by Wednesday.
Due to the top build of the body merging and unable to undo I had to restart but hopefully this time, I can get it right or as close and move on.
This was my first attempt at the tail which looked hideous just from the edit mode so I restarted using a sphere and just elastic deform to pull out the shape before joining a sphere for the side parts. I used most of the blue tools to lift and scratch in the details while smoothing it along.
I went back to the skirt and gave it some more detail since the original idea looked pretty boring. Now I just need to sculpt the hand and legs.
Probably the most disturbing looking hands to go with the design so I redid them.
With the hands and Legs taking around 2 hours to sculpt, I had finally finished this. as seen, some details are missing and some have chained. I’m hoping to learn to paint on colours so I can then add in the missing design through painting instead of trying to sculpt out each tiny pieces.
