With our selected parts, I started typing up the lines for the storyboard. I had Chloë’s storyboard from ages ago, since it was super quick and brief there isn’t many specific detail but it’s a good reference for the background and some props around. I stole a quick template from google and slipped in the text as shown, along side, Chloë’s old story board. Not sure how seconds we are restricted for our animation part, I may have to skip a few things to shorten my part as just roughly in my head this would go over 10 seconds which I’m slightly worried about, I personally know I can manage it in time if I take some shortcuts for backgrounds.
At least with this typed up I can start drawing in the blank spaces of the rough concept of action and atmosphere, possibly along side, I can add some colour in class tomorrow.
CLASS
I believe last week everyone had just switched groups and hasn’t warmed up, this week there was much more communication with some members I wasn’t able to speak to last week and I had spoken to some new people in the group. I spoke to Alyssa about how I could end my part to connect to the start of hers, since I was doing the first part, I didn’t have to worry too much about the start of my part. I might just have to slide in Demon Friends somewhere in the first scene and that’s about it.
Here is what my current Story Board looks like:
While for our Final Final Designs. I had used my drawing for a base by adding details or taking away. Below are just screen shots of the votes on the design that I had uploaded.
With these votes, we went with the 2nd design for human and the right hair colour for the demon. I had looked over to the side to Kris’ work of the design and asked about the horn colours and human clothes that I liked much better. I had slapped the white horns into the design from Kris’ design and some earrings that the demon is wearing and this is what I completed and showed to the group that was in class that day and we agreed.
Just after packing up to go catch a train, I decided I recommended using colours for the human from Kris’ that looked better.

BACKGROUNDS AND OTHER DESIGNS
I went ahead and designed the Sigil where the demon gets summoned through, I used a pen tool that has a rough texture that appears like chalk. I’ve also made it transparent so when other people use it they can easily transform it and not worry about removing the white background.
On the other hand, Ellie had drew out a few different room layout for the demon in which I like the third one as shown below.
Since I’m the beginning of the animation, I took charge of the room layout therefore creating a room layout for the human with the images of the human room provided by Chloë from ages ago before I was in the group. With no good understanding of room layout, I asked if anyone could fix it up. Chloë was online and provided a better layout which later on I’ll make in blender with the rough shapes.
