As I was switched groups while in the middle of designing characters, I ended up designing for both my original world, forest society(now moth cult) and my new world, space zoo. I’m also creating characters for the demon world as well as it is the current group I’m now in.
Forest society character:

This character was designed with the idea that they’re one of the few human survivors simply trying to keep going and attempt to somewhat coexist with the huge mutated bugs within the world that nature has taken back for itself. After hearing how the world has somewhat changed, I feel as though this character is very underprepared to handle it now. Nonetheless, I’m pretty happy with how the character turned out and I like the possible alternative looks for them as well.
Space zoo character:

For my character for the space zoo world, I decided to stay on the more alien side as I felt that would be more fun to play with. I had the idea that this alien creature would live within the forest biome or some sort of nature related biome within the ship hence why they consist of a lot of greens and browns. I think the character, and their alternative looks, turned out pretty well and I’m proud of how they look.
1st demon world character:

When creating this character, I took inspiration from a couple places. For their mask, I took inspiration from High Rise Invasion. For their arms, I sorta took inspiration from Mr Tickles from the Mr Men book. And for their long neck, I took inspiration from The Crooked Man. For their alternative body, I essentially made the opposite of their original body. I had changed the initial markings on the original body as I had realised that the initial markings were to sharp and would be difficult to keep consistent in an animation. I tried to keep them simple both in design and in colour scheme so they would be relatively easy to animate.
Alternative bodies:

Once I had made the first character, I decided to draw out some possible other bodies for my next monster. I tried to keep them all relatively human looking so that Eden(the main character for the demon world) would have a sense of familiarity from them as well as trying not too make them too horrifying. I think all 6 turned out pretty well even though they lack detail as they are. I think, for my next monster, I’m going to develop number 6 further as there’s something about it that I really like.
2nd demon world character:

This character is a further study of the 6th body from the alternative bodies I came up with from above. For his mask, I took inspiration from Shy Guy’s mask from Mario. I think it suits him as its the opposite to how he acts. I like how this character is practically a polar opposite to the other demon world character I made, both in appearance and in nature. All in all, I’m pretty happy with this character and how he turned out.
