This week I had done a Fine art work shop and below are some pieces I produced while doing this workshop. The workshop entailed making a scene out of anything, so I used some objects such as a candle, a novelty cactus plant and a perfume bottle alongside other random things and added a dark background. From the setup I drew out some still life sketches in charcoal and ink. After doing this I took some photographs of my setup scene and printed them using these alongside my sketches as a contextual guide for my two A2 sized paintings in Acrylic. I really enjoyed this workshop although I’ll admit my paintings weren’t as up to scratch as I’d like. Over the past few months I have been painting less, but with more work practice makes perfect!
