Communication Research and logo design

For my own logo, I wanted something gothic that looks quite old and similar to an antique logo. I thought pen looked really well for the designs because of the scratchy texture and deep black. My favourite of all the designs is the hands pressed together, almost in prayer, with black nails and a bleeding pinky. I really like this design as it’s mysterious and gothic while still really really simple. It makes you think of old biblical things and I love the gothic element to it. I imagine this symbol to go with gothic clothes or perhaps some kind of wine bottle, I’m not sure!

Good reflection here Ellie – I am intrigued by what an ‘antique logo’ would look like!!
