And with that, we’ve created our first full, rendered, composited cut of Comfort Zone. A true saturation of energy (a lot of late nights), effort and collaboration.
I am happy with the end result, and I feel like it’s great to look at early concepts and compare it to the outcome.
What’s Next
When we completed renders, we did work through a bit of a snag list on minor things we’d love to iron out and re-render for the End of Year show. See below:
I also want to do a bit of a tidy on the edit, making sure there’s no black screens or freeze frames where they don’t need to be, and also confirming everything that should have a sound effect has one.
I plan to do a colour and audio pass that works for theatrical presentations, so we can look our best for the EOYS and possible festivals. I chose to shoot in 2.39:1 for that reason, so, once we get round to that presentation format, I’m looking forward to seeing that through to its best possible output.
