Homepage redesign

A point that I got from Kyle from the crit was to rethink my homepage, it was a little bare. So I decided to rethink and see how I could develop this.

Kyle said in the crit that I needed a little something else above my periodic table, as he felt it was missing something. so I looked at the different things to add above the periodic table. I thought of adding the logo or the brand name or instructions. I played around with different ideas above and my final choice is Version 5 where I include instructions telling the user what to do as well as the brand name. I think this fits well here and I think that showing my two type faces works too.
