WEEK 0 – STOP MOTION INTRODUCTION
My Stop Motion Introduction Video
For the first week we were tasked to create a short Stop Motion video introducing ourselves to the class. For my video, I wanted to experiment with multiple styles of stop motion using various media, such as clay, paper and puppetry. I drew sprites of myself with different emotions and poses for various shots throughout which was inspired by simulators such as The Arcana and Pesterquest.
I included various objects that I had brought with me to university to represent my interests such as books and figurines. To create the Stop Motion video, I used the app Stop Motion to put all of my photos together and add a commentary on top at the end. I enjoyed being able to try various techniques to create my video and found that it was good experience for me to prepare for making a more professional Stop Motion video later in the course!
