In week five we were introduced to substance painter. We were given a premade hammer to texture and although i have used substance before this was the first time i had looked into using the masks and different functions to make the rust and dirt on the hammer. This was also the first time i had used the texture nodes to input the diffuse maps.

For the homework this week we have been tasked with modelling and texturing a helmet of our choice. For this i decided to make a old and rusty samurai helmet. What i liked about this exercise was the making the skull and triceratops skull as these where alot more complexe shapes the what we have been doing previously.
