In week three the main focus was learning the Bezier curve. Learning this allowed us to create the straw in a milkshake and a flower stem in a vase. As well as that we were taught some more basic functions when it comes to materials such as how to make the object transparent. A well as this we were taught a separate way to make the leaves on the flower stem were we started off with a plane and cut out the shape of a leaf. we would then add a solidify modifier and subdivision surface modifier and then manipulated the shape until we were happy with how it looked.

we were tasked to make and animate Zubat for week threes homework. what I found difficult when making the basic shape for the Zubat was the topology not being all quads. Since we had to use the knife tool to create the shape of the mouth it left me with a lot of three and five sided shapes and it took a few tries to get all squares. we then used the bezier curve to make the wings, doing this was a lot easier than the other option which was taking a cylinder and extruding it until the desired shape, it is also a lot faster. Another trick we learnt when animating the wings for Zubat was how to cycle the animation in a loop
