For week two we are going a bit more in depth into 3D modelling. First, we have been tasked with creating a skateboard and pull cart. During the process of modelling the skateboard we were told about the importance of quads within 3D modelling. Furthermore, we were taught how to separate materials on a single object. This was helpful as it allowed me to make the wheel and the wheel nut in the same shape but be different colours.

For the homework this week we have been tasked with creating a tie fighter from Star Wars. During the modelling process I struggled a lot with finding the right starting point as this was the most complex shape we had to make so far. At first, I thought making it out of one shape would have been easy to make. However, I very quickly realized my mistake and came to the conclusion that it was much easier to separate the shape into three different categories, the main body, the wing and what connects them both together. For the animation of the tie fighter, I decided to make I to do a quick loop as it is coming closer the camera
