In randomised groups of 4, we each looked at our blogs and gave each other helpful, constructive and rather detailed feedback about one another. This exercise is designed to improve our individual skills with our work and our group skills by sharing what we know about creating blogs with one another.

PEER ASSESSMENTS
COMMENTS FOR NEAVE: https://blogs.ulster.ac.uk/neavethompson/
Timmy: Good work, however make sure to evenly space all of your images and have even amounts of text, preferably paragraphs in between each image.
Darren: Everything looks great, can see that there was lots of thoughts and effort applied throughout
Lucy: It was a good blog, with examples of references throughout and plenty of ideas written down. The concept designs in my opinion were the strongest part as there was a lot of thought put into each detail about how it would reflect the characters personality and behaviour.

Neave: I like how you explain your process in depth and put references to most if not all of the things you do, it’s also laid out very well most of the time! There’s probably only a few things you need to do to improve your blog, the one thing I’d say is for some things you could afford to go into just a little more depth. (You drew something: Why? What does this make you feel? Why does it make you feel this way?)
Timmy: Good job on your blog. However make sure to not make every section too text heavy and to break up very large paragraphs into smaller paragraphs but other than that your blog is spot on.
Lucy: There was a lot of effort put into detail and references throughout your blog, with a consistent layout of text after images. Everything looked neat and was properly presented, however i think your strong point was the actual work itself, especially your thumbnails as you had a great use of colour. Even then the grayscale images also looked great! I would say though that there are quite a lot of walls of text in some places, which can maybe be broken up with a few images you used for reference.

Neave: I like how you’ve thought about what you’ve been doing as you work, you also explain what you’re doing and why,, u use references to back up the things you do as well, luv it! The one piece of advice i’d give is collage your reference pictures so they don’t take up as much space!
Timmy: Good layout, I like how you laid out your text and your reference images. Keep in mind that your spacing is a bit tight and try to add more text in between images or instead to spread out the text you already have.
Darren: looked good, lots of explaining your thought process and your working. can see the development and process of ideas! : )
COMMENTS FOR TIMMY: https://blogs.ulster.ac.uk/timothymagilton/
Neave: Laid out so it’s very easy to see and understand, only piece of advice I could give is some things could stand to be elaborated on, good job overall tho! : )
Darren: everything’s good, would only recommend some parts have a bit more elaboration and some parts have a bit more research references
Lucy: Nice blog with a good presentation, layout is easy to read and you have an introduction to yourself and your very first animation at the start which i find appealing. In some places though references could be mentioned a lot more, such as in your animation for the different weighted balls which could be easily done by just linking videos you watched to help you.
