In this assignment, I was tasked with creating six thumbnails, all of which show a viewer what our world will look like. Let’s take a look at them:
This first one show’s the viewer how the planet looks from space. That it is still somewhat a planet but only barely as all the different environments and region’s are fighting each other and pushing each other way, creating large gaps in the planets surface.
This second image show’s the viewer what has happened to some parts of the shattered planet, that some parts of the ground have just fallen into space and things like skyscrapers, buildings and even entire chunks of other planets are only being held together by wires and rocks.
The third image shown above tells the viewer how some parts of the planets infrastructure such as electricity remain intact, yet other parts like the ground and moon have been completely obliterated. Yet somehow these shattered planets manage to slowly rebuild themselves.
For the fourth image I had used point perspective to separate the office like foreground to the barren and desolate background. The only structure seen through the window, a skyscraper has just lost it’s top half to a meteorite, which used to be a part of the shattered moon seen in the third picture but soon fell out of the sky and smashed into the broken planet below.
The fith image depicts two planets, one with healthy blue oceans and vibrant green forests and one with polluted orange deserts and toxic purple rivers. These two planets ended up becoming sister planets after the universe was re arranged. The satellites between the gap of these two planets allow for many things such as communication, light travel and also act as a warning system, if any stray meteors or chunks of other planets were to get too close, these satellites would alert the planets and further action would be taken to destroy these threats if they got too close.
The final image show’s the head quarters of the greedy robot’s empire, where many speculate the book which was holding the universe together is being kept. This place got so polluted over time that all the metal glows orange due to the heat and nearly everything else is pitch black due to the smoke. Mostly robot’s live here but other life forms are present in these territories.
