Showreels

This week I looked specifically at showreels and analysing the content and how they are edited together. This will help me greatly when it comes to me making my own.

This is the first one I found. I feel it is a good example to look at for a number of reasons. First of all it is a good length, just over a minute and holds the audiences attention well and does not lose it. Secondly it starts and ends with the persons name and contact details which are very important for any employer watching. Another important part of the showreel is the content. I feel the content of this showreel is very good as it shows their best fully completed work and some of their works in progress, showing their work flow and process. The way the reel is edited together works well as it shows their best completed work first then moves on to show their works in progress and how they created their completed work.
