Building my landscape
This week I started planning my scene properly and moulded the landscape to how I thought would look nice.
I wanted to have a kind of clearing in a forest so I plan to have trees surrounding the main one with them being on hills. I have also made a sort of path leading into the clearing as this would be a good way to introduce my scene in my cinematic. I used a different texture for the path which I got from the starter content in Unreal. I even tired playing with the lighting to get a early morning look. My next step was to start laying out the other assets I had available at this time.
I tried spreading out the grass having it denser closer to the tree and kept the flowers on one hill side. I even scaled up the small pebbles to be large rocks. Now, after talking with my group and due to unforeseen circumstances, I will have to create several different types of mushrooms for putting on both the ground and on the tree. In order for me to start this I will have to look at reference images.
