More 3D animation

This week we continued creating simple animations to improve our skills at animating in Maya. Below are the animations.

Here I first animated the ball to move how id like the character to move. This helped me work out the timing of the animation.

This animation uses the Monty rig I will be using for assignment 2 so this animation was incredibly helpful when starting my assignment. I found this animation slightly more challenging than the other however it was still easy enough to do and made me confident to start animation my assignment.

Assignment 2

Here is my first animation for assignment 2, a study in weight and motion. Below is my previs showing my initial plan of how I want my animation to look.

Below is my first attempt at modelling a 3D cloud for my project I used this 2D reference image to help me. I also created two character deigns based off some of my inspiration from the previous week.
