Animatic

 

This week we created our animatic based off our rough storyboards. Before I could begin the animatic I had to first update and fix my storyboard so it tied in better with the rest of my group. I made sure to adjust the first and last shot of the storyboard for it transited better to the next part of the chain animation. I also made sure to look at more reference images thus time when drawing my storyboard so I could gain ideas for different perspectives and compositions.

  

 

After this I was able to begin my animatic. However when creating it I found my storyboard was far too long and in order for me make my animation only 8 seconds long, I had to cut several shots out. Below is my part of the chain animatic consisting of only 6 shots. I feel the animatic is good even though it is very rough. I find the timing for each shot to work well.
