This week, we focused on storyboards!
To start of the class, we made a storyboard for a jumping flour sack. I found it a little difficult as I wanted to make my it look like the camera was panning at the end to make it loop, but it was harder than I thought and I would’ve needed to add more detail to the background to make it look like it was panning. This is how my storyboard looks!
After this, we got a storyboard which was already filled out with text underneath it. We had to make a storyboard about a mage using our flour sack. This is what my storyboard looks like:
After this for homework, I focused more on my world and started drawing a storyboard for mine. This made it easier for me as I was able to plan out how many backgrounds I needed to draw.
I realised I needed to draw 6 backgrounds for my world. I wanted to make sure I stayed on track to give myself enough time for animating as possible as I’ve never properly done it before. These were all of my 6 backgrounds I drew!
I also drew the ‘firefly’ which I wanted for my world! Instead of it being a firefly, I liked the way it looked as a butterfly :))
