The Zubat model was a fun nostalgia of my childhood, and I believe of mane others. As well as a first using a reference within blender, which did lead to trying to make it as close as possible to the reference even if the 2D model was for most images of the creature, at an angle and the teeth that kept on coming out with a sort of ribbing all over, but I eventually managed to minimize that. But using the mirror tool helped a lot.

Week 2: Tie interceptor
Week 1: Snowman
Week 5: Substance painter introduction, warhammer
Week 4: UV mapping and Texturing
Week 3: 3D modelling, Milkshake and Flower vase
Week 2: Intro into 3D modelling, skateboard
For this week we got a more thorough look at how 3D works in blender, learning shortcuts, tools used to make items less blocky and more realistic. It was very interesting to get to experiment using a reference and pushing ourselves to add more shapes to give the model more details, although, given I lacked experience using blender, I struggled a little to figure certain things out special shortcuts that helped make things faster, as well as mistakes with the mesh itself which confused me. With help I got the hang of it.
Week 1: Blender intro, chairs and a table
For our first classwork, after having listened to the module and blender introduction, we were tasked to created basic chairs and tables and add other items of our choosing. It was interesting to get a proper introduction into how blender works rather then trying to figure things out on your own, and a nice way to experiment with the shapes available to us.
