I have included a PDF file of the element illustrations I created for my elements app. The idea behind these cards was to resemble game cards just like in the classic Guess Who game. I included the key points of each elements as well as creating illustrations that resembled properties of each of the elements so that if the children are visual learners, they would be able to look at the images and learn the properties of these elements via the illustrations.

I kept these cards as simple and colourful as possible, making them pleasing to look at so that the children do not feel as if they are learning something “difficult” or “boring”. I feel these illustrations fit the target audience well as they are not too overwhelming yet are not so simplistic that the 8-10 year olds feel the cards are below their learning ability.
