To begin with, i had decided my best option was to get my ideas down in front of me as soon as possible roughly. Below is my first draft on my storyboard. I know storyboards are supposed to be rough but certainly not this rough! I spoke to my group and Sarah about my idea and they all gave me really insightful suggestions as to not over complicate things and create a flowing sequences

I couldn’t look at my pathetic excuse of a storyboard for much longer, so I decided to redo it with more clear detailed drawings. I am much, much more satisfied with this outcome an feel it communicates my ideas throughly and is hopefully better understood!  I’m super excited to see it come to life and ive actually really enjoyed this aspect of the process.

edit; a couple of days into animating ive actually decided to change a few things that not only make the story more interesting, but certainly slightly easier for me! Which is welcome at this point because omg am i stressed out!! Particularly, the last scene where onyx is supposed to retaliate with a fire spell, instead the burning in her eyes will be the transition to Ellie’s first scene.
