Reflection

When I first started this 3D literacy part of the course 3D was something that I somewhat feared due to it being such a foreign concept to me as it was something I had very little knowledge and experience with. Having said this I feel like the combination of lectures and tasks have worked to help this be something I am actually becoming confident in and starting to understand. I am feel like I have become so much more confident navigating blender over the past 5 weeks, having to refer to previous weeks videos less and less as tools become something I can easily identify on the UI and quickly select and know how to use. I am still getting used to the idea of UV mapping and how to use substance painter efficiently but that is something I feel I can build on given the opportunity to work more with and get more used to the software. Actually animating in blender is somewhat of challenge as it is still something I am trying to get used to. However I am quite confident in actually knowing how to render and export animation using blenders video editor. Lighting and camera is something I feel that I still need to work on as I feel I could have used these a lot more effectively during my animations.
