So I fixed my method for creating chips, by simply using the boolings method, I thought it’d be too amateurish, but it seems like it was the only way of going about it officially that looks nice, well as best as chipped wood can look.
Finally, after a few weeks, I was able to get my hands on the hunter model, my original plan was to simply take the knowledge I had learned from the other classes, on how to rig a model using mocap data, only replacing the mocap data with the max for Maya model and then use the hunter rig, this would’ve made the process quick and easy, however..this proved to not work..so I’d need to do it the long way.
Putting both models side by side, I was able to get a rough patch of the walk animation, it shouldn’t take me too long to finish off now, but it is time-consuming having to re-do the animation from scratch.
