Digital Promotional Stategies 

TikTok

I created a TikTok account promoting my major project work, as TikTok is an extremely popular app at the minute I fet it was necessary to try and promote my work there. I uploaded my small clip of a transition between my Maya bedroom block out and my Final Unreal room and received over 500 views within the first hour, i will continue to do this to promote. At the end of Year show, I will attach links to my tiktok account that can be easy accessed via mobile.

 

Interactive Table on Sketchfab

I created a table using Maya and crated a very small scene, on the assets within the scene I added some links that will direct you to either my:

  • Poster
  • CV
  • Business cards
  • Design Deck
  • Art Book
  • Showreel

Instagram

I created a separate instagram account dedicated for my Major project, calling it ‘desolationproject’ I actively post my development and all my final render for my work. I will have a link for my page easy accessible at End of Year Show, as well as having my page advertised on my showreel.

SketchFab/Artstation

My final digital promotional strategy for the End of Year show will be through sketchfab and art station – I actively upload on both of these websites videos and still of my work that can be viewed online.

Physical promotional Strategies

For my table at the physical End of Year show I will be printing out:

  • Art Book
  • Posters
  • Business cards
  • CV

 

End of year show Contribution 

As I wanted to take part in the industry end of year show, myself, Anastasia Owens, Hannah Gordon and Emma shanks decided as a group do some fundraising for the show, we decided to create a Disney themed hamper to keep it more animation related but also be something that people of all ages could enjoy. We decided to individually set a budget of £10-15 each and purchase something that could be put into the hamper, i decided to buy a 1000 piece Disney jigsaw puzzle which we then displayed nicely for the hamper and began promoting on facebook and instagram.

We had the hamper live for 2 weeks, which we were extremely successful in, raising £240 for the end of year show.
