To begin planning my scene for my apartment, i researched some blue prints for small open plan apartments. I found quite a lot of different options and decided on the one i liked the best. I chose this apartment blue print as I could picture where I could all of my own asset, I knew I only wanted to do the bedroom and living area and kitchen, so this allowed me to do that without worrying about creating a bathroom.
I found mimicking this blueprint super helpful when creating my interior scene, it also allowed me to visualise where all the individual assets will go. Now that my walls were built and Uv’d, I added details such as windows and doors and created a separate floor for the kitchen. I decided to keep the door opened to help my scene in Unreal with setting the lighting up.
