Once My idea was finalised, I began to breakdown my idea’s and how I would implement them into a final project, I know I wanted to be realistic with my time frame, so when planning the scenes for major project – I needed to take into account:

  • How many assets need to be modelled and UV’d?
  • How many assets need to be textured?
  • How long will it take me to build my Unreal Engine scenes?
  • How long will editing and lighting take?
  • Feedback and correction time
  • Blog write up time

 

All these factors are super important whenever I am creating my project, I knew I wanted to create something really amazing, however as opposed to past projects – I decided to work solo. Keeping this in mind, I stated writing out the rough plan for my scenes.

What is my idea?

  • A trailer style video for an Apocalyptic 3D game
  • An exterior scene with buildings and foliage
  • An interior scene (bedroom)
  • Plane crash scene
