During my meeting with Alec in summer, we began to break down all my idea’s and he helped me choose my final idea. We began to look at the potential ways I could develop my idea of the Apocalyptic city. I initially didn’t have a plan on where and what time frame i would set up my project.
After further discussion, we narrowed the project to being set in Derry city where I would have spent a lot of my childhood growing up. We talked about taking lots of reference images of Derry and begin modelling the building in Maya, initially turning Derry into an apocalyptic city. I liked the development so far of my project idea, as it had some personal element in it, for the last few weeks of summer I will gather some reference images of Derry City to have whenever I begin modelling.
