To begin planning out my business card ideas, I wanted to do some research on business card styles that caught my eye. I created a collage of the business cards I liked the most, which I will use to help me create a rough draft of my own business card. I found some bright pink and colourful cards which I felt looked really nice and simple, however still looking quite creative.
I loved the constraint between the white and pink, I feel they look really nice together.
First Draft
I completed the first draft of my business card, going with a pink and black colour scheme on procreate, adding some borders. I quite like the colour, however I felt this style wasn’t really suited for me and my major project, as I although I want to created my cards for a long term use – I want to ensure that they don’t clash with the overall theme of my apocalyptic style project.
Draft 02
I experiment a bit more with different colour borders and adding a white background, however I felt the typeface and colours didn’t work together and it needed a lot more work and research. Furthermore , I felt the pink was quite faded and clashed slightly with the white background as it looked washed out.
I am going to experiment with my business cards, by adding some different colours and font styles and potentially adding my logo I have already created.
