Character Artist

I found a character artist job from Tarsier studio’s that I wanted to base my CV of, this job appealed to me as it involved 3D and character design which is two areas I would be interested in.

The job stated various factors that I need to consider prior to making my CV, the requirements included:

  • Strong skills in organic modelling and sculpting in Zbrush
  • basic understanding in rigging , skinning and python-skinning in Maya
  • Experience with Unreal Engine 4
  • Good understanding with human anatomy and structure
  • Able to work well under pressure
  • skills in photoshop
  • skills in substance painter

These are all factor I wanted to consider once I started my CV, as well as this I wanted to ensure I had a strong theme within my CV and have it heavily based on 3D art. This particular job included creating characters, so this is something else I will consider when creating my CV.
