To further my research for my project, I wanted to look at some more examples of ‘abandoned’ and ‘creepy’ locations so I can look for ideas to incorporate into my own project. I began to do some research on all things creepy and took some screenshots of different things I liked and could potentially use for my own hospital.
I really love how these abandoned locations are shown, they have ripped up walls and moulded floors which gives it that abandoned look. I also really love how some walls are covered in graffiti which is something I am considering putting into my own hospital, this could help with giving it an old neglected look. I noticed a lot of these locations shared similar colour schemes such as green, brown, black and purple tones which helps with this ‘creepy’ feel to these asylums.
