EAUC – the alliance for sustainability leadership in education aims to inspire, promote, and support change towards best practice sustainability within the operations, curriculum, and research of the UK tertiary education sector. As the sustainability champion for universities and colleges in the UK EAUC positions sustainability at the heart of each institution’s core strategy and can help our institution to achieve our sustainability commitments.
Ulster University is a Member of the EAUC, meaning all of our staff (including staff in Student Unions) and students have access to resources, unrivalled knowledge, and networking opportunities provided.
At Ulster University Business School, we all have a role to play in embedding sustainability across the institution. By taking advantage of our EAUC Membership, staff and students can work alongside each other making us stronger.
The profile of the EAUC Membership base covers all areas of an institution’s focus from carbon literacy, curriculum, estates, procurement, transport, and energy, to student and community engagement and the curriculum. With 6000 individual Members, EAUC Membership truly offers something for everyone.
Membership also offers free access to Sustainability Leadership Scorecard (SLS). SLS is a transformational tool for the education sector aligned with the UN SDGs that allows institutions to individually submit their sustainability performance and obtain key information in terms of benchmarking to similar institutions, gap analysis, or better high-level reporting of sustainability information.

To take advantage of our existing Membership, create a free EAUC account by registering on the website using your institutional email address – simply select our institution in the drop-down box. You will then have access to all Member-only resources, discounts and services!
