PRME Launch Event in Belfast

We are delighted to invite you to attend our Principles of Responsible Management Education (PRME) Launch Event in association with PRME UK & Ireland Chapter and The United Nations (Global Compact).

This is your opportunity to network, share your experiences, get involved in research and take away some sustainable teaching materials.

PRME is a collection of 800+ Business Schools in 96 Countries with the goal of transforming management education to develop the responsible decision-makers of tomorrow.  PRME offers Lecturers many opportunities to get involved, apply for funding and simply to show off our excellent work to the United Nations (…and win awards).  The overall PRME mission is complementary to our own strategy of ‘delivering sustainable futures for all’ and is a key element in our AACSB Application.

The benefits of attending include;

  • Introduction to the benefits of joining the PRME Network
  • Practical guides for introducing sustainability into your classes (including ready-made materials)
  • Getting involved in sustainability research and networking lunch
  • Opportunities for teaching and research funding
  • Opportunities for PRME Student Awards
  • Examples of the excellent work that is already being done in this area.
  • PRME Global Screening live from New York

The event will be held at Ulster University’s Orpheus Theatre, (BD Level 2, Belfast Campus, Tuesday 18 June 2024, 10:00 – 13:00) and we be delighted to introduce the benefits and opportunities available through PRME, including an overview of how you can get involved.  Please see the full schedule as attached.

Each year, Ulster University will present case studies to the UN Global Compact showcasing our commitment to sustainability. This launch event will provide practical examples of how you can contribute to these efforts.
