Originally, I began to block out my character on Maya, given that this is the software I am most familiar with, however, I started over the process in Blender once I realised that the voxel sizes were different and the scale was measured in metres as opposed to centimetres;



In the next week, I’ll be using a torus mesh to create the armbands for my water-safe penguin and as well as smoothing the body into one mesh, I will start to think about sculpting some more defined facial features.
