In week 4 of 101, we looked at typography.
I found this lecture quite interesting as I enjoyed learning more about hierarchy and the techniques behind using typography in design.
Taking our new knowledge into Figma and played around with typography. We were asked to take a letter using the default Figma typeface: Roboto, and transform it using lines and shapes. I first took an M and split it up using lines, as well as adding some triangles to make it appear sharp.
We then moved on to combining different letters into different shapes:
Once we finished these, we were given the task of organising an Ant Middleton flier using typography hierarchy that we just learnt about:
