For the next part of our 100 iterations project, we were tasked with choosing nine of the 100 images that we had compiled within our groups.
We then had to post these nine images in slides on Instagram for the 19th Oct.
After this, we were asked to create a narrative inspired by the images that we found and display this in nine illustrations.
My narrative follows a seed that grows into a tree, focussing on the lines involved (with roots etc.). Once the tree has grown in a field of others, it is chopped down and the narrative develops into following the wood being cut and turned into a bridge. This includes the lines involved in the plan that’s drawn out before the bridge is constructed.
I wanted to clearly display how lines are seen repeatedly within nature, and then again with man as we use nature for our own gain.
