Rigging
for this weeks task we were to rig up a character model to poses. rigging is a bit more complex than what we were doing today. the idera behind rigging within the industry is to allow people to turn there models into puppets thay can animate, where they can rig up eyes mucsles and program cirten atiction for things like tails. thinsg that we were to look out for were to label each side of the body it also helps to have your model in the middle of the axies. this helps when doing the other side of the model and ensure that its accuret [if your model is missing a limb its ok you just have to adjust it}. a thing that rigger have is an undertanding of anatomy and the ins and outs of the animation principle of soil drawing, this help when working out where the bones would bend and where they should sit in the body. for more advaced rigging you would be doing more coding which, can apply to animatronics within the diseny parks, the best example of this is the animatronics in the straws land in amarica where they proram its movments within a similer meahtod to how you would rig a 3D model [its just the skeloton is real and non digital].
the way the skeloton is made works kind of like exturing objects to create a chain of dimon shapes to create the skeleton.

one improtan aspect i forgot during the symetrasing process was to only copy one side of the model to get an even skeleton and ensure that they dont dupicate within each other.

for the pose i went and and looked at soem battle poses from the new anime DanDaDan and used one of there poses as a refernce. after that we had a crash coures in how to upload soemthing to skectch fab a 3D gallery. this website offered alot of ways to present our model like the lighting and even allowing us to adjust the world lighting and the uv maps themsevles.
End Reult

overall i found the process easy enough to get the hang of and undertand though i did make some silly mistakes during the building process. i think i could fix this by not trying to do the task while the teacher is doing it due to not beinga ble to keep up with the main task. i think next tream i might sit closer to the front of the class. though the other thing i would improve would be the how the ankles sit, for this angle they just bend in a unnateral way where it just looks like there broken. i think if i moved the legs a bit wider and the knees inwards that bit more i could avoid this process. i do like how the rest of the body is poessed though i do think i couldve wnet futher with it exprerssion with the sculpting tool i think i shouldve over exadurated the expression.
