Emily Cole –

In terms of group work, Emily collaborated extensively well with everyone to help complete her sound analysis and worked hard with us as a team, going as far as to analyse the sheet music of the short film’s score.

Lauren Connolly –

Overall, Lauren contributed a decent amount of camera analysis work to this project and worked well in collaboration with the rest of us when completing the powerpoint, however, when asking the tutor the morning of the presentation that she would rather present privately rather than in front of the class, this was without the group’s prior consent. Therefore, this caused disruption for the rest of the class, specifically group 12, who were suddenly scheduled a few hours earlier than they were prior, leading them to have significantly less time to practice. I found this quite careless on Lauren’s part, as her refusal to present to the front of the class robbed the rest of the group of practicing presenting in front of a large group of people.

Joseph Dynan –

Joseph seemed slightly unprepared when it came to presenting mise-en-scène, stumbling over his words slightly and exceeding the two minutes he was supposed to have taken to speak, but he did provide a satisfactory amount of research in his analysis.

Miller J Elston –

Miller was very reassuring with me whenever I exceeded my presentation time slightly, which I appreciated. His editing research was quite visually dependent, relying on the clips from the short film – I think his analysis could have benefited from a bit more text on the slides explaining which techniques had been used and how they were significant to creating an emotional response within the audience.
