This week, I was moved into the Bioluminescent world group. As the characters and world have undergone mass mutation, I decided that I would make a character who shares DNA with a hedgehog. For now, his design is still in the works and I do need to experiment more with a different face and body shapes. However, I don’t think this is a bad start. I intend to do some research into the idea of this world, and at the moment, I’m thinking of looking into deep-sea creatures for inspiration. This is because some of these creatures are very alien-like and have bioluminescent features- e.g. the anglerfish. Specifically, I wish to look into the science of why these creatures glow and take this reference to integrate into my perception of the world.
