Here is my second character design. this one, I had a lot of fun with as I enjoyed looking into cryptids and folklore as this was very informative and intriguing to read and watch about! In addition, I got a lot of inspiration from other interesting character/creature designs and observing these gave me the motivation and influence for this species. They helped me to determine what kind of creature I wanted to make. Moreover, I feel that this creature is strong with its design as it has good use of a colour scheme, physical attributes and fits into our world relatively well. I liked this creature design so much, that I even decided to make a possible character opportunity from it. By doing this initial character sheet, I was also able to roughly estimate what the species Cornibus would look like in my regular style. When transferred across it doesn’t look half bad, however, I feel that because it is flat colours it shows a lot more that I might need to work on the palette of the pelt. This has given me an insight into the design, therefore I will think more about this in my spare time.
